Shaun Swanson

Shaun Michael Swanson, age 33, or Erie passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at home. He was born December 27, 1987 in Erie the son of Russell R. Swanson and the late Judith Modeski Swanson.

A lifelong resident of Erie, Shaun loved anything automotive, whether it was working and restoring cars or going to car shows, if it involved cars or something mechanical, he was there. A jack-of-all-trades, there was nothing he couldn’t or wouldn’t try to build, repair, or fix. He also enjoyed the beach, and swimming was a great pastime.

Besides his father who loved him dearly and was his best friend, Shaun is survived by his stepmother, Theresa (Cash) Swanson; a half -brother, David Swanson; and two step-sisters; Alicia Ramey and April (Ramey) Merchant.

Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9^th & Liberty St. on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM and are invited to attend Funeral Services there Monday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. All CDC guidelines including facemasks and social distancing will be followed.
