Sharon Rose Mohney-LeTrent

Sharon Rose Mohney-LeTrent, age 66, of Erie passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at UPMC Hamot. She was born April 29, 1957 in Erie the daughter of the late Richard (Dick) E. Mohney and Camilia (Carm) Felizardo Arteaga.

Sharon was employed at GTE as an operator and also worked at the Cascade Park Club for many years. She always enjoyed being the life of the party and really enjoyed socializing and having fun. She will always be remembered for her humor.

Her proudest achievement in life was being a great mother and awesome grandmother. She always made her family number one priority and her family will always remember her caring. She also enjoyed the fun times she had with her sisters Patricia Mohney and the late Lori Baginski. They were a close knit group and loved each other so much. She also will be missed by her lifelong best friend, Mary Ferrare and her husband Patrick.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving parents; her sister, Lori Baginski, and close friend Kathy Harpster.

She is survived by her three children: Timothy Mohney (Laura), Vincent LeTrent, and Victoria LeTrent. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Mohney; a niece, Danielle Nelson (Brandon) and grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Ava, Jada, Taylor, and Odin.

Sharon’s family would also like to thank her best friend in the world, Mary Ferrare and her husband Patrick for always being there and helping her. She always appreciated it and her family is forever grateful.

Friends are invited to call on the family Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Downtown, 602 West 10^th St. from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at which time Funeral Services will be held. Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Cascade Park Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family.
