Sharene Moore

Sharene E Moore, 52 of McKean is at peace with the angels after battling lung cancer over four years.

Richard, her best friend and husband over twenty one years, walked hand in hand by her side, never leading, never following, since the day they were introduced. She died at home on Wednesday, May 8.

Sharene is the daughter of Paul and Sue Rodemoyer of Mercer, mother of Jared McClure of Erie, sister of Andy Rodemoyer of Mercer and Scott (Marisol) Rodemoyer of Youngstown, aunt of several nieces and nephews, and a friend to everyone who knew her. Sharene's thirty-plus year career as a Medical Transcriptionist began after graduation from Mercer High School and Mercer County Vocational Technical School.

Survivors include her husband and his sons and grandson, her parents, her son, and her brothers.

Sharene was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, and father and mother in law.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 2 pm. to 6 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Sharene had requested donations to The Regional Cancer Center Foundation, 2500 W 12th St, Erie PA 16505.
