Scott R. Turk

Scott Ronald Turk, age 44, passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on February 24, 1979 in Erie, PA to Doreen Pitonyak Bolen and the late Ronald Kenneth Turk.

He graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1997 and then attended the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Computer Engineering. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, reading, computers and tinkering with electronics.

Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Brown, Andrew Pitonyak, Maxine Pitonyak, Kenneth Turk and Jacqueline Turk.

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his stepfather, James E. Bolen, Jr., grandmother Dorothy Brown of Erie; a brother Brian Kenneth Turk (Mary Beth); nephews, Logan Turk and Noah Turk; 5 Aunts, 5 uncles and many cousins.

Friends may call on the family on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church, 2635 Buffalo Rd., Erie, PA from 2:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM with Rev. James McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
