Saundra Kirkpatrick

Saundra L. (Nesmith) Kirkpatrick, age 82, of Erie passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She was born December 15, 1938 in Johnstown, PA the daughter of the late Wilbur and Bertha (Gabriel) Nesmith.

A longtime resident of Erie, Saundra had worked as a legal secretary for law offices.

She was also a former officer with the Gannon Faculty Spouses organization and truly loved the outdoors, whether it was working in her garden or bird watching. She also loved following the activities of her children and grandchildren.

Saundra is survived by her beloved husband, M. Jude Kirkpatrick; three children, Lisa McNally and her husband Dr. Mark McNally of Milwaukee WI; Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick of Houghton, MI and Deidre Marazza and her husband John of Erie. She is the grandmother of Brina and Nora Kirkpatrick and Madeline Marazza, and is also survived by a sister, Sharon Dieppa and her husband Ismael of Southport, NC. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9^th & Liberty St. on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  Further visitation will be Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in McKean from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association of Greater PA, 2835 E. Carson St. Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.

The family wishes that everyone follow CDC guidelines for visitation.
