Sarah Smith

Sarah Ann Smith, age 81, of Erie, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital.

She was born in Erie, April 28, 1940 to the late Edward and Florence James.

Sarah was a graduate of Academy High School, and resided in Erie until 1963 when she married James T. Smith. She was a member of Allen Chapel Church, in Silver Spring, MD.

She is survived by her husband, James T. Smith, her son Andre Smith, and his sister Lisa McLemore, siblings, Edward James, Edwina Frith, Barbara Drew, Carol Voisin, and big brother Jeffrey Smith. She is further survived by her granddaughter Makenzie Turner. Sarah is also survived by many nieces and nephews,who helped her along the way.She is also survived by her brother-in law Fred,Mattie,also preceded in death her brother-law Larry Smith.

In addition to her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence James.

Inurnment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park, in Rockville, MD at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie.
