Sandra Malin Schweingruber

Sandra Malin Schweingruber, age 76 passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2023 at UPMC Hamot. She was born January 22, 1947 in Ashtabula, OH, the 3^rd daughter of Elizabeth and Carlo Malin. She graduated in 1965 from Edgewood Sr. High School in Ashtabula, OH.

Sandra worked 18 years at Plastek Corp., retiring in 2009. She liked crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, movies, TV, coloring and going to senior centers for the music and entertainment. She especially enjoyed visiting her friends and relatives.

Sandra is survived by her 3^rd husband, Michael Schweingruber, who she has been with since 1991 and married in 2011; A daughter, Michele Huffman Thaetig in Lubbock, TX; A granddaughter, Jessica Canbaz in El Paso, TX; A sister, Pat Holt and husband Carl in Lowellville, OH. She is further survived by 4 nephews: Gary, Craig and Dana Holt, and Brian Scott; aunt Bev and uncle Bill Maltz and cousins: Germaine, Sherry and Laurie all of FL; Karen Cunningham and husband Ralph in NC, Darla Welser in Ashtabula, OH, Paul Petri of Conneaut, OH, Holly Sheneman of Conneaut, OH, Laurie Bidwell of Conneaut, OH and Barb Miller of FL; Sister-In-law, Cathy Schweingruber of Delmont, PA and brother-in-law, Steve Schweingruber of Erie, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Scott and a cousin, Beth Thiel.
