Samuel "Sam P" Kitcey, Jr.

Samuel “Sam P” Kitcey, Jr. age 68, of Millcreek, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his residence surrounded by loved ones.

He was born in Erie on September 1, 1956, a son of the late Samuel Sr. and Irene Kitcey.

Sam was a 1975 graduate of Tech Memorial High School.

He owned and operated Kitcey Collision-Auto Sales for over 40 years.

Sam loved life and enjoyed the 4 B’s- boating, biking, beer and bands. He attended many concerts and spent three days riding the Seaway trail from Detroit to Erie on his bicycle all by himself. Sam was a fun-loving guy who loved spending time with his family and many wonderful friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jim, Jerry, and Ken Stevens and Linda Washek.

He is survived by his loving wife, Daria Kitcey; his twin daughters, Alexandra Kitcey and Rebecca Kitcey (Joe Jackman) and several nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his beloved dog, Mr. Sampson.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Sams hospice nurses, Tom and Kathleen.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services Inc, Wintergreen 2532 Norcross Rd, Erie, on Monday, March 17th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Tuesday, March 18th at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
