Samantha M. Rossiter, age 28, of Erie, PA passed away in her home Sunday, August 30, 2015. Samantha was the beloved wife of Tim Faulkner. She was born in Brunswick, Ohio on February 21, 1987 and is the daughter of Jacqueline Sammartino of Erie and Gary Rossiter of Phoenix, Arizona.
Samantha graduated from Seneca Valley High School in Zelienople, PA. After graduation she attended classes at Pima Community College in Arizona while working at Fryes. Upon moving to Erie she attended Edinboro University and Mercyhurst University while working at CVS as a pharmacy technician.
Samantha always had a smile on her face and brought joy to those around her. She was very determined and self-assured in all that she did. She loved music and would play the piano, violin, and guitar. Samantha was also a vegetarian and dearly loved her four cats.
In addition to her parents and husband, Samantha is survived by her step-father Ray Sammartino and her step-mother Darci Rossiter. She is further survived by a brother, Jeffrey Rossiter, two step-sons Aidan and Logan Faulkner, maternal grandparents Richard and Shirley Bour, mother and father-in-law Susan Barb Giasson and James Faulkner, a grandmother-in-law Vera Parker, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Ed and Shirley Rossiter.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 602 W 10 Street, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 until the time of services at 3 p.m. Burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Samantha’s name to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 E 10th Street, or the Humane Society of Northwestern PA, 2407 Zimmerly Rd.
