Sally Junker

Sally Ann Junker, age 80, of Fairview, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, at her residence.

She was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on June 25, 1936, the daughter of the late Millard and Kathryn Constance Groscost.

Sally worked in the office at Fairview Pharmacy and Bierhaus International until her retirement in 1998.

Mrs. Junker was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church where she was very active and involved, a member of Koinonia of Erie County and was an avid golfer. Sally was a very devoted wife and mother who loved people unconditionally.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry E. Junker; and a brother, Tom Groscost.

She is survived by two sons: Brian Junker and his wife Danielle of Erie, and Gary Junker and his wife Natalie both of Erie; four grandchildren: Stephanie Winter, Jared, Rachel and Ruthanne Junker; and her dear friend, Laurel Dohanic.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home Girard, 525 Main Street East on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00p.m. and are invited to attend a service on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairview Presbyterian Church 4264 Avonia Road, Fairview, PA 16415.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Memorial may be made to the Fairview Presbyterian Church.
