Sally Buseck

Sally Melaven Buseck, 92, a lifelong resident of Erie, died August 5, 2022, at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on October 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James and Eleanora Schuhwerk Melaven. She was proceeded in death by her brother, Thomas, in 1941 and her husband of 52 years, Richard J. Buseck, in 2001.

She is survived by one son, Atty. Thomas J. Buseck, and four daughters, Susan (Anthony) Miceli, Rosemary Briggs, Maryann (Mark) Henning of Erie; and Eileen (Daniel) Haibach of Dayton, OH. She was a devoted and proud grandma to 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was also blessed by kind and thoughtful neighbors and friends who brightened her days.

Friends are invited to call at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 2801 W.6th St. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 AM at which time a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery.
