Salena Waldo

Salena Waldo, age 48, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly, January 2, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. Salena was born in Erie, March 11, 1972 to Richard and DeAnna Waldo.

Salena is survived by her daughter, Tamara Mitchell, and her mother Deanna Waldo. She is further survived by her siblings, Sharon Waldo, Carrie Brunecz (Kevin), Jennifer Gillespie (Devin), Holly Waldo (Pedro Rodriguez), and a brother Richard Waldo. Salena is survived by her significant other of many years, Ted Mitchell, an adoring niece, Mariah Rodriguez, nephews, Kaleb Brunecz, Ivan Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez, Ronan Waldo, Carden Waldo, and many other nieces and nephews. Her godparents, Laurie Fenstermacher of Erie, and James Waldo of Texas, a grandmother, Paulena Schoening, a lifelong friend, Sandra Doty, and many cousins, friends, and family.

Salena was a people person, she loved to be on phone from birth.  She adored her niece & nephews, cherished her late father, as well as her friendships.  Salena loved & cared for her ailing mother; she would want a toast to her life in the fast lane.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Waldo.

Memorials may be made to Burton Funeral Home in the care of the Waldo family.
