Sabina Gleba

Sabina (Zujko) Gleba, age 88, of Erie, died peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2015 at home in the presence of her loving family. She was born in Poland to the late Piotr and Michalina Zujko.

Sabina lived in Poland for over fifty years before moving to Erie. She enjoyed time with family and friends. She was an avid gardener until her final days and she also loved to cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Marja Makula, Lidia Zujko and Schola Zujko.

Sabina is survived by her children Lucy Hawryliw (Michael) of Erie; Grazyna Mysza (Aleksander) of Poland; and Andrzej Gleba (Halina) of Poland. She was also the grandmother to Donna Sirak (Joseph), Brian Hawryliw, Elwira Gleba and Hubert Gleba, and Monika and Jacek Mysza. Also, the beloved great grandmother to Patrick Gleba and Marcel and Kornel Gleba.

Sabina is survived by her sisters Waclawa Gleba of Erie and Teresa Milewska of Poland as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Private. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 2220 Reed Street with the Father Stan Swacha Celebrant. Arrangements entrusted to The Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home 2532 Norcross Road Erie, PA 16510.
