Ryan Alan Bailey, age 41 of North East, formerly of Girard, passed away unexpectedly in an ATV accident in which he was a passenger, on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at UMPC Hamot,
He was born in Erie, on June 1, 1977, a son of Linda C. Bailey of Canton, Missouri and the late Robert A. Bailey.
He was raised in Edinboro, PA and graduated from General McLane High School Class of 1995. He went on to further his education at Triangle Tech in Erie, PA. Upon graduating, he joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW Local #56) in Erie and worked as an Inside Journeyman Wireman. He was actively involved with his local and served as an executive board member, Vice President, President, Business Manager and Financial Secretary. After serving some time on the business side, when it came to his career with Local #56, he found that he much preferred working hands-on as an electrician at the job site.
Ryan enjoyed hunting, gardening, four wheeling, singing and playing his guitars, attending concerts and listening to music, watching the Steelers and spending time with friends. He found the most joy when grilling and cooking for others at family gatherings.
In addition to his father, who he missed daily, he is preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Irene Bailey, and Leroy and Millie Whipple.
Ryan is survived by his two beautiful, beloved daughters Ellie June and Eryn Irene and their mother Carrie Bailey of Girard, a brother Matthew Bailey and his girlfriend Leslie Sult of Edinboro, a sister Kyle Beth Scavo and her husband Jeffery of Harborcreek, and several nieces and nephews.
