Ruth Weinheimer

Ruth A. Weinheimer, age 86, of Erie, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at Fairview Manor.

She was born in Erie on December 19, 1926 the daughter of the late William H. and Mabel M. Schuster Weinheimer.

She was a member of Luther Memorial Church and past President of Lutheran Church Women, a member and past President of the Erie Business and Professional Women’s Club. She was also a member of Lutheran Home volunteers, the Westminster Garden Club and Friends of the Library. She was an avid reader. She was employed for 33 years at Erie City Iron Works, Zurn Industries as Office Manager.

She is survived by one brother, William Richard Weinheimer, Denver, CO, two nephews, Douglas Henry Weinheimer, Gypsum, CO, William W. Weinheimer, Lakewood, CO, a niece Wendy Martin, Grand Junction, CO.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Luther Memorial Church on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Coleman officiating.

Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
