Ruth Waiter

Ruth Waiter, age 84, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. She was born in Erie February 2, 1939 to the late Leo and Lauretta Waiter.

Ruth was a loving and happy people person, she loved drawing pictures for people. She enjoyed everything Disney related, especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Ruth was well loved, and always spunky.

She is survived by her siblings, Helen Zack, Reynold Waiter, and Nell Waiter. Ruth is further survived by her nieces and nephews; Sherrie Zack, Richard Zack, Lauretta Zack, Larian Waiter Platt, Ronald Waiter, Brandy Waiter, Christopher Waiter, many great nieces and nephews, and a longtime boyfriend, Dan Tietjen.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, and a nephew Michael Zack.

Friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10^th Street, Erie.
