Russell Young Sr.

Russell L. Young Sr., age 77, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at home. 

He was born in Erie on December 21, 1943, the only child of the late Jack and Cordella Young.

Russell worked for GE for many years, receiving training on many different aspects of the manufacturing process.   He had a fascination with computers and a passion for fishing.  But most of all, he was a family man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley.

He is survived by three sons: Russell Jr., Gregory and his wife Stephanie, and Kirk Young; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on the family from 12pm until the time of service at 2pm on Monday December 13th at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th St. (at Powell Ave).  Burial to follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
