Roy Shupe

Roy James Shupe, age 82, of Fairview passed away Sat. April 30, 2022 unexpectantly.  Roy was born in Valprasio Indiana on May 9, 1939, the son of the late William and Irene Shupe.

He served in the Army in 1956 for a short time.  Roy worked as a mechanic at the Kahkwa Club from where he retired in the mid 70’s.    He was an avid carpenter, always making something or remodeling a room.  He also loved going out in his boat, fishing for hours at a time.  He also loved working on his stamp collection.  He was a lifetime member of the Monisuko Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1^st wife of 26 years Sandra R. Shupe, a daughter Mary Ann Shupe, his sisters Sharon Crossman and Joyce Trott.

He is survived by his two daughters Christine Shupe and Theresa Shupe, his 2^nd wife Mary Shupe, one niece and three nephews, and his cat Leroy and dog Coco.

Friends are invited to call on the family at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services West Ridge, 3801 W. 26^th St. (at Powell Ave.) on Saturday May 7^th from Noon until the service at 2pm.   Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
