Rosemarie A. Dovishak O'Reilly

Rosemarie A. Dovishak O’Reilly, age 64 passed away on Wednesday June 26, 2024 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Erie on December 11, 1959 to the late Anthony and Muriel Wood Dovishak.

Rosemarie graduated from McDowell High School and worked as the store manager at Mason Farms on Peninsula Drive for 35 years. She enjoyed ceramics, cooking, baking and flower gardening in her yard. She also enjoyed having a rum and coke, dancing and playing with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Simon in 2020. 

She’s survived by her husband of 45 years Patrick O’Reilly of Erie; daughter Christa Cortes (Jason) of Erie; son Joseph O’Reilly (fiancé Diana Reitz) of Erie; 2 sisters Diane Dovishak of Erie and Grace Farella of Springfield, PA; and 3 brothers Joseph Dovishak of Erie, Anthony Dovishak of Erie and Sam Farella of Corry. She’s further survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, several nieces, nephews and best friend Andree` Hair.

Friends may call on the family at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St. Erie, PA on Monday July 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM officiated by Mike Ripple. Private inurnment in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
