Rosemarie Canfield

Rosemarie (Marie) Cooper Canfield age 71, of Millcreek, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in Erie on December 22, 1949 a daughter of the late Paul and Rosemarie Cooper.

After graduating from East High School in 1967, Marie went to the Hixen School of Professional Floral Design.

She was a devoted wife and mother, and worked as a Floral Designer at Grode Florist.

Marie enjoyed gardening, chasing the sun, cooking and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed real estate investing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul (Pauly) Cooper and Roger Cooper and a sister, Barb Cooper.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jim Canfield; daughter, Tina Hayes (John) both of Erie; son, James Canfield III and his fiancé Leslie of Pittsburgh; sister, Rosemary Shallenberger (Glenn) of Fairview; brother, Steven Cooper of Lakeland, FL; two grandsons, Darren Mangold of Pittsburgh and Jacob Mangold of Trenton, NJ; and two sisters in law, Diane Grace and Marybeth Locke both of Erie. She is further survived by many beautiful nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26^th Street, on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
