Rose Marie Wurst

Rose Marie (Kaiser) Wurst, age 97, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Greenfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, after a lengthy illness. 

She was born on September 9, 1926, in Erie, the daughter of Paul King and Marie Kaiser.

Rose attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from Strong Vincent High School. She had many talents including creating flower arrangements from her beautiful gardens. Not only was Rose a skilled gardener, but she was also an excellent cook and seamstress. She was known for her beloved collection of angels.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilbert “Honey” Wurst, who passed in 1971 after 24 years of marriage and her sister, Betty Newson. 

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Wurst; nephews, Steve Davidson and Brian Davidson and nieces, Brenda Davidson, Donna Christian, Diane Lee and Melody Buzzanco. 

Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc., Downtown, 602 W 10th Street.
