Rose Absalom

Rose Marie Absalom age 96, formerly of Moon Township, passed away on August 18, 2020 in Erie, PA.

She was born in Pittsburgh on September 21, 1923 a daughter of the late John and Jane (Delsardo) Palumbo.

She graduated from Fifth Ave. High School in Pittsburgh and retired from the group desk of US Airways.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William J. Absalom; a sister Ann Orsini; two brothers: Joseph and Anthony Palumbo.

Survived by two sons: Ronald Canestro and his wife Rose Marie; grandson Ronald B. Canestro all of Buffalo, NY; and son Greg Canestro and his wife Wendy of Erie; a sister, LaVern Hoover, of Buffalo, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Burial in Resurrection Cemetery in Coraopolis, PA. Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services at West Ridge 3801 West 26^th St Erie, PA
