Rosa Allen

Rosa Cotcamp Dey Allen, 84, of Erie passed away Monday, November 18, 2013. She was born in Fayetteville, WV on July 16, 1929, a daughter of the late Corbett S. and Goldie Decker Cotcamp. Mrs. Allen received her Associates Degree and complete several other post graduate studies. Mrs. Allen was the former owner and operator of The Fireline Group which she and her late husband purchased in 1984. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. She was able to take wonderful trips to Hawaii, Mexico, England, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Russia, and Egypt during her retirement. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Louis Allen, a daughter Sheryl Seaman and her first husband Keith Dey Sr. She is survived by three daughters, Karen Book and her husband Dave of Erie, Kathleen Dey and her husband David Laskowski of Edinboro, Christena Dey and William Bell of Erie, and one son Keith Dey, Jr. and Cindy Demyan of Albion. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a visitation hour at 10:00 AM and a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie Pa., 16502. Interment will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Erie Chapter of the American Heart Association, 823 Filmore Avenue, Erie, PA 16505; to the American Cancer Society 2115 West 38th Street, Erie, PA 16507.
