Ronald Lee Linton age 76, of Erie, passed away quietly on October 24, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Franklin, PA on July 16, 1941. After graduating from Franklin High School he moved to Erie and worked as a tube bender for Riley Stoker for 39 ½ years before it’s closing in 2009. Ron was always a hard worker well into his retirement years and devoted himself to helping everyone in the family with any and all projects or needs that they may have had. He also enjoyed working part time jobs as well as helping his youngest son with his business. He showed unconditional love to his family and friends and was a great man but an even better husband, father and grandfather. We love you and miss you so very much papa. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Ron is survived by his loving wife Suzan Canfield Linton along with sons; Thomas Lewis and Ronald Linton both of Erie. Four grandchildren also remain; Kailey and Charles Linton and Ryan and Rebecca Lewis also all of Erie. Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West 10th St. Erie, PA 16502 on Wednesday from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm and are invited to services there on Thursday at 11:00 am.
