Ronald Konkol, Jr.

Ronald James Konkol Jr., age 48, of Fairview, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 at UPMC Hamot as a result of an ATV accident Friday evening.

He was born in Erie, Pa on July, 14 1973, a son of Betty Lou Snyder-Barczyk and her husband George, step-father of Fairview, and Ronald J. Konkol and his wife Connie of Fairview.

He was a graduate of Fairview High School, class of 1991. Ron worked Handy-man contractor for many years, and more recently as a small engine repairman. He also enjoyed camping, working on small equipment, and wood working. Ron loved life, loved his family, loved his boys, and would do anything for anybody.

He was preceded in death by a son Zachary Konkol; former wife, Jaclyn Konkol; grandparents, Ralph and Ann Erven, Leonard and Mae Barczyk, and Louis Konkol.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé Michelle Anne Stoltz; sons Bradley J. Konkol and fiancé (Kaylee) and Jackson J. Konkol, both of Fairview;  future step-sons Zakary A. and Caleb J. Kosiorek;  a brother Matthew Barczyk and his wife Catherine, of Fairview, two sisters, Jessica (Eric) Amann , of Fairview, and Hope (Bob) Konkol, of Girard. Ron is further survived by his future father and mother in law, Bruce and Patricia Stoltz, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc., West Ridge, 3801 West Ridge Road, on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 3 pm until 7 pm and are invited to attend a service there on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11 am. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
