Romaine Musso

Romaine E. Musso, 96, of Erie passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at LECOM Senior Living Center. Born in Kittanning, PA she was the daughter of the late Ord and Lida (Starr) Spence. After graduating from high school in 1942, she moved to Erie at the age of 18. 

At 70, she retired as Manager of Avis Rent-a-Car, Erie International Airport. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant for 60 years where she served as elder, trustee, deacon and usher. After retiring, she volunteered at the church office for many years.  She was an avid reader up until a year ago. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Benjamin J. Musso; sister, Hazel Woods and brother, Ronald Spence. 

She is survived by her daughter, Rose (Stan) Kazimierowski of Camp Hill, PA; granddaughter, Andrea (Andrew) Ritter of Camp Hill, PA and grandson, Bryan (Kali George) Kazimierowski of Tampa, Florida; four great-grandchildren and three nieces. 

Our family would like to sincerely thank all the LECOM staff, especially the VNA Hospice team and her nurses and aids at the Senior Living Center (4W) for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Romaine. 

Family and friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc., 602 W. 10th Street, Erie, PA 16502 on Friday October 8, 2021. Viewing will be at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.  The Reverend Britney Knight will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. 

Memorials in lieu of flowers, may be made to her church, First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 250 West 7th Street, Erie, PA  16501; designated for the Benjamin Musso Memorial Carillon Fund.
