Rodney Eddy

Rodney L. Eddy, age 39 of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on October 17, 1975, a son of Everett and Brenda (Crockett) Eddy.

Rodney graduated from Central High School in 1995 and attended Mercyhurst North East.

He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed traveling. Rodney was a fun and outgoing person and was a man of faith. He will be missed by his family, friends and his three dogs.

Rodney is survived by three children, Rodney L. Eddy, Neashas Eddy and Rodshmier Eddy, all of Erie. The mother of his children, Nea Hamilton, loving friend, Kitty Cheathams, grandmother, Ruby Crockett, brother, Everett (Levette) Eddy, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Firstborn Apostolic Faith Church of God, 1221 East 19th Street, Erie, PA 16503 on Wednesday from 11 am until the time of service there at 1 pm with the Reverend Bishop Climatee Roberts officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie.
