Robin Green

Robin E. (Cline) Sargent Green, age 50, of Girard, passed away, Wednesday October 14, 2015 at UPMC Hamot following a brief battle with cancer.

She was born in Erie on May 31, 1965, a daughter of Marylou Halstead Cline and Kenneth Cline.

Robin graduated from Northwestern High School and most recently from Mercyhurst University with a degree in Business Management. She worked at Airborn in Lake City for twelve years. Robin also worked at Rich’s Food and was a chief steward involved when they became Lake Shore Frozen Food. She was very passionate in volunteering for the United Way and SafeNet.

Robin was hardworking, funny, patient and passionate about helping others. She loved to travel, especially on a moment’s notice.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 20 years, Robert Green; daughter, Rebecca Sargent (Joshua Logan) and son, Shawn Walston (Cassandra Marcks); a very special grandson, Seth Sargent. She is further survived by her siblings: Susan Rickie and her husband, Dave, Linda Brand and her husband, Curtis, Carol Brissy-Smith, Paul Cline and his wife Dianne, and Kathy Winslow; step children: Janette Wood and her husband, Jeff, Julie Moore and her husband Keith, and Jason Green; 8 step grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews; and her first husband, Roger Sargent.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard on Sunday from 2-4pm.
