Roberta Edelmayer Sweeney

Roberta L. "Bobbie" Estes Edelmayer Sweeney, 69, of Erie, died Mon., Dec. 9, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center.  She was born Nov. 9, 1944 in Cleveland, OH, daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy Frost Estes.  While living in California, Bobbie worked as a home health care giver.  She loved animals and was an avid supporter of the Humane Society.
 

She was preceded in death by a son, Nathan L. Edelmayer.
 

Survivors include a son, Matthew F. Edelmayer III and wife Tammy of FL; a brother, Edward Estes of Erie; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Justin Edelmayer of FL; a sister-in-law, Linda Waite of Erie; a niece, Brenda Austin of Erie; a nephew, Daniel Estes and wife Julie of Erie; two grandnephews, Shane and Brett Austin of Erie; and two grandnieces, Terry and Kiya Stone of Erie.  
 

Services are private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St.     .
