Robert Witt

Robert Paul Witt, age 65, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Erie, September 28, 1955.

He attended Strong Vincent High School, and worked at Hammermill.

Bob was a knowledgeable and profound brother. He loved history, and enjoyed nuanced discussions about WW1 and WW2. He was kindhearted, in his own way, generous, smart, and funny. Although he was not an extrovert, he made positive impacts on many lives.

Robert is survived by his siblings, Pauline (Allen) Witt, Bernard (Denise) Witt, Cheryl (Bruce) Witt, Joseph Witt, Anne Montante (Angelo), and Andrew Witt. He is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and one paternal aunt, Renee Brady (Ben).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Edith Dawkins Witt, his brother and sister in law Thomas (Joyce) Witt, sister in law Carla Witt, nephew, Joshua Montane, and great nephew, Christopher Witt.
