Robert E. “Bob” Sindelar age 75, of Fairview, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 surrounded by family at his home following a brief illness.
Born January 7, 1943 in St. Louis, MO, he was the eldest son of the late Vincent Cyril and Ruth Francis Connely Sindelar.
Bob graduated from Centralia High School and went on to earn a BA in Building Construction from the University of Florida.
Having worked at CMI (formerly Zurn industries) for over 20 years, he traveled to many countries including South Korea and Russia. He was well respected amongst those in the Power Generation Industry.
Climbing Mount Hood and Mount St. Helens was one of Bob’s prized accomplishments. He was an avid Harley rider and enjoyed boating and home improvements. One of the greatest experiences of his life was volunteering on the Brig Niagara.
Family was the most important part of his life. All would agree that he was the kindest and friendliest person who became a fast friend and mentor to many. His favorite expression was, “Our echoes roll from soul to soul.”
