Robert Shepard

January 15, 1947 — November 24, 2022

Robert Shepard, age 75, of Millcreek, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on January 15, 1947 a son of the late Melvin and Pauline Dougherty Shepard.

Robert served in the United States Army Reserves.

Robert owned and operated Precision Polymers for many years.

He was a very hardworking, kind and generous man. He enjoyed giving to the local Veterans, the Food Bank and enjoyed buying Christmas gifts for many children in need. Robert was always helping people. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, was a car enthusiast and was an avid New York Yankees fan. His greatest love was taking care of and spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Melvin and Rick Shepard and a sister, Judy Wasikowski.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jacqueline Jones Shepard; two children, Alicia Niemenski and her husband Darrell and Mike Shepard and his wife Cathy; five grandchildren, Madison, Jacob and Jersey Niemenski and Matthew and Hannah Shepard and three sisters, Melody Barczynski, Sandra Shepard and Jackie Posten. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services were held private at the convenience of the immediate family by the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Erie, PA 16506.
