Robert Miller

Robert C. Miller, age 88, of Erie, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home. He was born in Erie, July 1, 1934 to the late Eugene and Esther A. Hartung Miller.

Bob served his country proudly in the United States Army. He loved boating, hiking, and biking; he was a lifelong learner, learning to speak German, and visiting the country. Bob was generous to people in need, he coached youth soccer for over 35 years. He sponsored youth hockey in Erie for many years, always supporting the “youngsters”.

Bob is survived by his nieces and nephews, James Miller (Karen), Janet Noonan (Mark), Kimberly Bussard (Ronald), Daniel Miller, and Kelly Dyleski. He is further survived by several grand nieces and nephews, and his dog, Chubbs.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brother, Eugene T. Miller

Friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie.
