Robert Gustafson

Robert G. “Moose” Gustafson age 57, of Fairview passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at UPMC Hamot.  

He was born in Erie on August 31, 1965 a son of the late Robert and Evelyn Behan Gustafson.  

Rob graduated from McDowell High School and went on to work for the Millcreek Township School District for over 35 years.  

He was a very kind and generous man who was always looking to help people especially the teachers at JS Wilson Middle School. Rob loved watching Sponge Bob and enjoyed volunteering for Embracing Our Veterans.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his foster parents, Duane and Shirley Stockton; a sister, Lori Gustafson and his father-in-law, Herbert Brandon.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Heather Brandon Gustafson; a brother, Jamey (Kim) Gustafson; two sisters, Becky Gustafson and Judy (Bart) Cooper; mother-in-law, Linda Brandon; two brothers, Gary (Sue) and Todd Stockton and two sisters-in-law, Renee (Mark) Vaughn and Rachel (John) Robertson. He is further survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to a service there on Monday at 11:00 a.m.
