Robert Gusky

Robert L. Gusky, 80, of Erie, died on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at UPMC Hamot. He was born on February 1, 1935, in Erie, son of the late Leonard J. and Anne C. Liebert Gusky.
A 1952 graduate of Tech Memorial High School, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Bob was a lab technician for Hammermill Paper Co. for 42 years retiring in 1997. He is a member of Luther Memorial Church, Moose Lodge 593, American Legion Carl Neff Post 571 and Blue Dolphin Scuba Diving Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing poker and spending time with his friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Shirley A. Staaf Gusky, in 2009; a brother, James L. Gusky; and a granddaughter, Sarah Clark
Survivors include three daughters, a brother, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Erie, PA 16502.
