Robert Gauthier

Robert W. “Bob” Gauthier age 76 of Erie, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Golden Living Center Western Reserve. He was born in Erie, Pa. on October 5, 1936, a son of the late Thomas and Hannah Gallagher Gauthier. After graduating from East High Scholl, Bob began working with cars and began Gauthier Car Sales which he owned and operated for many years. He loved NASCAR racing and even participated in several pit crews. He was married to the former Judith Dankworth. In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by a step son, Mark Maasz and his wife Kathryn of Erie along with a granddaughter Kimberly also of Erie. Bob also leaves a brother-in-law, David Dankworth of Orlando, Florida. Private arrangements are under the care of Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, Pa. 16502.
