Robert Church

Robert C. Church age 85, of Girard passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Vincent Health Center. 

He was born in Albion, PA on October 10, 1936 a son of the late Clifford and Metta Patterson Church.

Bob went to High School in Albion and went on to serve his Country in the United States Navy.

He worked for Parker White Metal in Fairview for over 25 years as a hot metal man.

He was a member of the Moose Club and the VFW in Albion. He was a volunteer firemen for the Albion Fire Department for many years. He loved to bowl, hunt, fish, and the outdoors. He had to have his puzzle books and his family meant the world to him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Church; four brothers: Bill, Arnie, Ronnie, and Harold Church; eight sisters: Joyce, Shirley, Pat, Betty Lou, Carol Jean, Sandy, Maxine,  and Inez.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Gabel Church; his children: Tina M. Boozer of Girard; Wendy M. Lance of Platea; Robin Church and Gregory Church both of Girard; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard, on Wednesday, Dec. 8^th from 3 until the time of service at 6pm. with full Military Honors.
