Robert Carroll

Robert F. Carroll, age 88, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at UMPC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on September 5, 1929, a son of the late Thomas Joseph and Henrietta K. Schneider Carroll.

 Bob was a graduate of Cathedral Prep and went on to serve our Country in the United States Navy. He worked for many years in the shipping department at American Sterilizer until his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and a member of the Siebenbuerger Club. He enjoyed playing slow pitch baseball in Erie many years ago.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Brower Carroll, in 1986 and two brothers, Thomas and Ronald Carroll.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Christine L. Parker and her husband, Jeff, of Lawrence Park; a sister, Mary Carroll, of Erie; three granddaughters, Stephanie Brown (Ed Miller), Jennifer (Nick) McMillen, and Tiffany (Chad) Gollnitz; he is further survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26^th St. on Saturday, March 3^rd from 10 a.m. until the time services at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with full Military Honors.
