Robert Calvin

Robert Malcolm Calvin age 87, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at

St. Mary’s Home East.

He was born on September 13, 1931, a son of the late Trace and Mabel Rice Calvin.

He had worked as a welder for many years at Erie Stayer.  He enjoyed walking,

gardening, fishing, camping, and hunting. But his biggest joy was family gatherings and

cookouts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Patty Calvin in

1992, his second wife Margaret Calvin in 2015, and two brothers: Rodger and Stanley

Calvin. 

Robert is survived by his pride and joy, his daughter, Karen Petri; four grandchildren:

Heather Arnold; Jessica Greenfield; Heidi Petri; and Dustin Petri; a brother, Arden

Calvin; a sister, Opal Calvin; many great grandchildren; one great grandson; and several

nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26^th Street (at Powell

Ave) on Saturday from 5 to 6pm.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral.
