Robert Barth

Robert D. Barth, age 65, of Girard, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at St. Vincent Health Center.

He was born in Erie on November 15, 1950, a son of Jean Daniels Barth and the late Robert H. Barth.

Robert graduated from East High School in 1968. He worked at BASF as a chemical operator for 45 years. He loved his family and especially being a grandpa. He enjoyed family picnics and his pool and was an avid sports fan.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Michele Orlando Barth in 2014; a sister, Sherri Sheehan and an infant son, Jeffrey Robert Barth.

He is survived by his children: Jennifer Zinz and her husband William of Lake City, Maggie Figueroa and her husband, John of Erie, Jeremy Barth and his wife Jamie of Conneaut, PA, and Danielle Tessier and her husband, Nathan of Lake City; step sons: Jeffrey and Brian Jacoboski; grandchildren: Caitlyn, Carter, Ashley, Abbey, Annie, Austin, Aly, Abigail, Logan, Riley and Avery; a brother, James Barth of Erie; and a sister, Vicki Beatty and her husband Ed of North Carolina.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard.
