Robert F. "Bud" Aylsworth age 91, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Edinboro Manor.
He was born in Erie on July 13, 1921, a son of the late Frank and Myrtle Rudd Aylsworth.
Bud graduated from Academy High School and then went on to serve in the United States Army during WWII.
He was employed at Lyons Transportation Lines for many years.
Bud lived for anything and everything baseball. He played with many local baseball teams and loved watching the Cleveland Indians. He was also an avid hunter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Aylsworth, his son Harry R. Aylsworth and by his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his two daughters, Shirley Mitchell and Mary Lou Fedorko and her husband Pete. He is further survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave.) on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Services and burial will be held private for the family at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
