Rita Boldizar

Rita R (Sokoloff) Boldizar, 88, of Erie, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at LECOM Senior Living Center. She was born July 5, 1927 in Erie and was a daughter of the late Coli and Annie Sokoloff. Rita was known for her kind heart and helpful nature. Those who knew her will always remember her determination, persistence and strong will.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Alyce Burke, Margaret Sokoloff, Kathryn Dolan, Violet Sokoloff, and Edna Zmijewski, as well as her brothers, James, Milton, Jack and Steve.
She is survived by her son Rick Boldizar of Erie, and her grandchildren, Rick, Becky, Sawyer, and Katie, as well as three great-grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Hanna.
