Rima Arutyunova, Md

Rima Surenovna Movsesova Arutyunova, MD, age 87, of Erie, died on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at St. Mary's at Asbury Ridge.  She formerly lived at High Point Towers.  She was born on October 1, 1931, in Baku, Azerbaijan, daughter of the late Suren Movsesov and Tamara Carenok Movsesova.  Dr. Arutyunova was a physician at Baku Hospital #8 in Baku, Azerbaijan for 40 years, retiring in 1986.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Vadim Arutyunov and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Violetta Grigorova and husband Vagan of Erie, a brother, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Services are private with burial at Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights, Ohio.  Fr. Hratch Sargsyan, of St. Gregory of Narek Armenian Church, Richmond Heights, Ohio, will officiate.   

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street.
