Richard Yurkovich

    Richard P. Yurkovich, 53, of Albion, died suddenly Thurs., Aug. 30, 2012 at his residence.  Formerly of Waterford and McKees Rocks, PA.  He was born Sept. 21, 1958 in McKees Rocks son of the late Martin and Virginia (Regina) Szwecki Yurkovich.  While living in McKees Rocks, Mr. Yurkovich graduated  from Sto-Rox Senior High School and worked for Marshall Stamping Co. until the time of his disability.  He was a self-taught artist and auto mechanic, enjoyed oil painting, was an animal lover and an avid Steeler fan.
     Survivors include two sisters, Jacqueline Yurkovich of South Park, PA and Wanda Kotlinski of Bessemer City, NC; two brothers, Carl M. Yurkovich and wife Barbara and Chester R. Yurkovich and wife Patricia, all of Coraopolis, PA; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  He is further survived by Tabitha, Angel, Savannah and Justin Tuttle and their children, all of Concord, NC.
     A sister, Loretta Vojtecky and husband Albert, preceded him in death.
     Private interment will be in St. Mark's Roman Catholic Cemetery, McKees Rocks.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St., Erie, PA.
