Richard Wood

Richard Paul Wood, age 80, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. 

He was born in Erie on July 22, 1938 the son of the late Harry A. and Christine E. Groves Wood. 

He was a 1956 graduate of East High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1960. 

He was a scheduler at Hammermill Paper Company for 20 years. 

He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Wood; two sons, Daryl Wood and his significant other, Carrie Glass and Terrence Wood, all of Erie;  13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10^th Street, Erie on Tuesday, October 16^th from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m.  Burial will be private at the request of the family.
