Richard Malone

Richard A. Malone, age 58, of Erie, passed away on Friday November 2, 2018 at home.  He was born in Erie on December 5, 1959, a son of the late Joseph Frank and Lenora Chrzanowski Malone.

Rick spent most of his working years as a machinist at Hammermill and GE.   He also spent time as a painter with Dee’s Painting.   He was a competitive arm wrestler and helped to teach others the sport of arm wrestling through the Lower Eastside Federation (LEF).  He loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed watching sports of all kinds including baseball, Nascar and his Browns.  Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his two children Erin and Jacob Malone; his grandchildren Ava and Keirra Malone; his brother Joseph Gary Malone, his sisters Diane Wolozanski and Nancy Nietupski, and several nieces and nephews.
