Richard Kovach

Richard Lee Kovach, age 75, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Windber, PA on October 25, 1945 a son of the late Steve and Twila Robb Kovach.

Richard graduated from St. Francis College.

He was employed as a manager at Verizon for 42 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Abel Lukjanczuk and a brother, Steve Kovach.

Richard is survived by his wife Linda Zima Kovach, and his daughter Rebecca Lukjanczuk and her husband Paul of Erie, and his grandchildren: Elizabeth (fiancé Richard) Lukjanczuk, Mary Foley (Ben) and Sarah Lukjanczuk (fiancé Scott), two great grandchildren Joanna and Colt and a sister, Joy Hoffman.

Services are private at the convenience of the family by the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Service, 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie Humane Society 2407 Zimmerly Rd, Erie, PA 16506.
