Richard A. Kiser Sr., age 89, of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.
Richard was born in Woodcock Township, PA on March 6, 1933, a son of the late Leon and Madgie DeRoss Kiser
He was a 1952 graduate of Saegertown High School and then served in the U.S. Army in the Korean conflict. He worked as a machine operator at North American Rockwell until his retirement.
Richard was a former member of the St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Albion, American Legion #567, Moose Lodge in Conneaut, Ohio, the Albion Sportsman’s Club, AARP and the AAA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Elsie Triska Kiser, four brothers, Donald, Wendall, Charles and Virgil Kiser and five sisters, Ordella Morris, Ermma Rago, Virginia Cumston, Dorothy Pytlarz and Norma Tracy.
He is survived by his wife Bonita Kiser; two daughters, Debbie Hosler and her husband Owen of Lakeland, Flordia and Patty Drakes and her husband Danny of Albion; three sons, Jim Kiser of Ashtabula, Rick Kiser of Girard and Kevin Kiser of Conneaut, Ohio; three step children, Berdina Sisko of Bradenton, Florida, Bernard Liocano of West Springfield and Brian Liocano of Bradenton, Flordia. He is further survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildern and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Thursday July 21st from 11am until the time of service at 1. Burial will be in Albion Cemetery with full military honor.
