Richard M. Case

Richard M. Case, age 80, of Fairview passed away Saturday June 1, 2024, at Walnut Creek Rehabilitation in Erie following a brief illness.

He was born in Erie on February 18, 1944, a son of the late Harold P. and Wendella Carlson Case.

Dick was a 1963 graduate of Fairview High School.  He worked in Erie as a Banker most of his life. He had a used car sale lot in his retirement. He was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church, where he was always willing to lend a hand.  More recently he was an usher and handed out the bulletin as the congregation entered the church, and the kids loved to give him a fist bump.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Swager and two brothers, Robert and James Case. 

Dick is survived by his wife Gina A. Case; a bother David Allen Case and his wife Jeanette of Austin, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family, arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard.
