Rhea Lewis

Rhea Nieder Watkins Lewis, age 55, of Erie, died on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at UMPC Hamot. She was born in Erie, PA on February 29, 1960, a daughter of the late James Nieder and Patricia Fitzgerald Nieder Hyde.

Rhea was a graduate of Gannon University and was employed as a paralegal and other part time jobs until her disability. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, and loved animals.

Survivors include her three children: Harry (Michelle) Watkins of Hermitage , PA; James and Jonathon Watkins of Erie, PA; three brothers: Howard (Brenda) Hart of Erie, Patrick Nieder of Jacksonville, FL, and William (Diane) Nieder of Erie; and her stepfather Ronald Hyde of Erie. Three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends are invited to call on the family from 11am until a time of sharing at 1pm on Friday March 20th at Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA 16510.
